A UPSC Qualifier in Jail with Books on’ Ram, Krishna & PM’ Beyond Liquor Policy Case, Arvind Kejriwal’s outstanding history Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was held by the Enforcement Directorate on March 21 in a plutocrat laundering case linked to contended irregularities in the now- scrapped Delhi excise policy 2021- 22. The 55- time-old had qualified for the UPSC Civil Services Examination in 1995 and joined the Indian Revenue Service as an Assistant Commissioner of Income Tax. He’d also worked at Tata Steel. He was serving as the Joint Commissioner of Income Tax in New Delhi in 2006 when he abnegated from the services.

Arvind Kejriwal came notorious after the Jan Lokpal Bill with activist Anna Hazare. In 2012, Kejriwal started the Aam Aadmi Party and came the party’s public convenor. During the 2015 Delhi Assembly choices, AAP won with a major maturity, carrying 67 out of 70 assembly seats. An IRS officer of the 1994 batch, Sunita Kejriwal served in the Income duty department for 22 times. In 2016, she decided for voluntary withdrawal from the IT dept. Her final assignment was as a manager of IT at the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal( ITAT) in Delhi. She holds a master’s degree in Zoology. Their son Harshita Kejriwal cracked JEE Advanced when her father was lodged in Tihar Jail in 2014. She had secured rank 3322. She completed her scale from IIT Delhi. She had scored 96 per cent in her board examinations.
